Industry knowledge and experience serving the commercial transportation and logistics industry
In an ever-changing legal and regulatory environment, it is more important than ever for commercial transportation and logistics companies to have reliable, experienced counsel that deeply understands the legal and business risks facing the industry today. Attorneys in the Burns White Transportation and Logistics Practice Group draw upon their significant industry knowledge and experience — both inside and outside the courtroom — to help clients navigate this complex environment and manage risk.
With extensive experience handling emergency response investigations, our team responds to the scene in the critical hours immediately following an accident to gather and preserve evidence, guide investigators, and interact with authorities. Complementing our own experience, we use a diverse network of engineers, medical experts, and accident reconstruction experts to protect our clients’ interests, from the moments following an accident through resolution.
In addition to handling serious injury and death cases, our attorneys serve as outside general counsel for privately-held companies, advising clients on business operations, leasing agreements, insurance coverage, regulatory compliance, contractual negotiations, employment matters, and workers’ compensation litigation. Where necessary, members of our team work closely with attorneys in other substantive practice areas, using a multidisciplinary approach to counsel clients on the diverse and complex issues facing the transportation and logistics industry.
The Transportation and Logistics Practice Group offers counsel to national trucking, transportation and logistics companies. Our team partners with our clients to understand the particular needs and priorities of each client. Proactive and nimble, we provide case assessments at the earliest possible stage of the investigation to identify opportunities for a fair and early resolution, and when necessary, have the depth and experience to try complex and difficult cases to verdict.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=”custom” accent_color=”#cbb777″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]
