She is also responsible for all aspects of attorney hiring, integration and assimilation as well as the development and implementation of professional development programming.
Jessica partners with senior management to support the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee and the Women’s Initiative Committee. She also works with other Burns White initiatives including mentorship, leadership training and strategic planning. Jessica regularly provides strategic advice to firm leadership to ensure initiatives allow the firm to recruit and retain the most talented attorneys and are integrated and aligned to support the firm’s strategic agenda.
Jessica has over 15 years of experience in domestic and international legal talent acquisition as well as retention and professional development. Prior to joining Burns White, Jessica spent 12 years as the Recruiting and Development Manager for a large international law firm. She managed all aspects of recruiting legal talent and supported diversity and inclusion initiatives including the Women in the Profession Committee.
A long-time member of the National Association for Law Placement (NALP), Jessica is currently the Co-Vice-Chair of the Lateral Recruiting Working Group and was previously the Mid-Atlantic representative for NALP’s Regional Resource Council. She has served as a panelist and presenter at numerous NALP conferences and various law schools on topics related to recruitment, leadership, diversity and inclusion, and networking. She is also an active member of the Pittsburgh Legal Recruiters Group, Pittsburgh Area City Group and the Legal Recruitment Administrators of Philadelphia.
